Shafeek and Meret will be bringing to London the first weekly dance class taught by two Egyptians, male and female. The classes will be focused on technique and the true roots and feelings of this beautiful dance.
These classes will be invaluable to anyone that wants to learn the essential Egyptian Style and the accurate interpretation of Arabic music.

Dance Holiday
7 nights from the 2 October to 9 October 2006 in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain
Every year in October I go to a very beautiful little moorish village in southern Spain and teach a week long series of workshops, with my best friend and dance partner Beatrice Curtis. It is fantastic fun and every year I have met the most amazing groups of people. The workshops are geared at a general level and everyone is welcome.
There will also be a BellyDance course running at the same time as the Raqs Sharqi Dance Holiday, taught by Beatrice. As Beatrice and I have worked together many times before, we feel we offer students/participants a unique experience, and draw together two strands of the dance that have not always been very close
